Journal Gem - week of March 25th

1. Your life today or your life 5 years ago? My life 5 years ago...if I could do it again, I would have done hings differently. 2. Childhood or Adulthood? Adulthood...my childhood sucked most of the time. 3. Happiness or Money? Happiness...money is overrated and happiness is harder to find. 4. Anticipation or Satisfaction? Satisfaction...I have been patient all my life. I am sick of waiting. ha ha 5. Today or Yesterday? Today...Because yesterday is already behind me. I really don't want to have to go through it again. LOL 6. Safe or Risk? Safe...With risk can come pain in many forms. I am not into getting hurt. 7. Fashion or comfort? Comfort...One can look good and be comfy too. :)

1. Definitely my life TODAY. Five years ago was really not a good time for me, and my life today is the result of a conscious effort to move towards a better situation. 2. Adulthood. I have to struggle really hard to remember anything worthwhile from my childhood. 3. Happiness. All the time, every time. Money doesn't buy happiness, only the ILLUSION of happiness. As Kinky Friedman once said: "Money can buy you a fancy dog, but only love will make him wag his tail." 4. Tossup. I'd say that I marginally prefer to "have done" over "going to do." I find anticipation to usually be too "abstract" for my tastes, so I like the concreteness of knowing what is and has been. 5. Tomorrow? I'm rather future oriented, on the whole. That may seem to contradict #4, but I really feel like my "good old days" haven't been here yet, so I tend to look to the future to find them... or create them. 6. Safe. Or "Safe, mostly." When I look at it, even the "risks" I take tend to be "planned," so they aren't really "risks," to such a great degree. 7. Comfort. I have just never given much of a hoot about fashion. I think the last time I was "fashionable" (and even THAT was by coincidence-- I just LIKED black) was during the punk rock era of the late 70's - early 80's.

Sorry I am responding late! I am now going into my later email that I never got to because of the busy school!! :) Sorry....but I always love doing them! 1. Your life today or your life 5 years ago? I would say my life today. I have gone through different things in my life then good and bad that have made me who I am today! So, yes my life today! 2. Childhood or Adulthood? Well, I have not made it would of "childhood" yet because I am not an adult! So, right now, I would have to say that I would pick childhood. I don't want to grow up! :P 3. Happiness or Money? Happiness...definitely! Money does not make everything as happy as being happy could! LOL 4. Anticipation or Satisfaction? Satisfaction! I can be very impatient. :) 5. Today or Yesterday? Today! It is Friday, physical therapy is almost done, and I can sleep in!! Yesterday was the past...I made it through it. 6. Safe or Risk? I can be a risk taker at times....but I would much rather stay safe. Better safe than sorry!! 7. Fashion or comfort? Well, I would really something to look nice, but it also has to be comfortable. I am not one to wear something that makes me feel uncomfortable, or not ME. :D Thanks again for posting these! I enjoy them and I am sorry that I responded late!! :)

1. My life today. I am a lot happier now, I have been married to my wonderful hubby for almost 4 years. 2. Adulthood. I didn't have a great childhood, I was (and still am) chubby, so i got picked on & looked over alot. 3. definetly happiness. Money can reduce stress in your life, but its not everything 4. anticipation...love surprises & looking forward to things 5. today..yesterday is over 6. safe..not a big risk taker, would rather go for the for-sure thing 7. absolutely comfort. I am not out to impress anyone, I would much rather be comfortable than stylish..but there are ways to do both at once
