Back in the 1990's when usable home computers didn't exist and the internet was a Star Trek dream.. what did people do?
I have often wondered if it is possible to avoid your computer and its hook.. the internet for a day or two?
With all the questions and querys that you have that needs answering, checking email 6 times a day etc... I find it absolutely impossible to avoid my computer and the internet.
If not at home... I pack my laptop around and hookup with an available wifi.
My brain would die of starvation if the internet didn't exist. So what the heck did the folks do pre-internet? TV must of been damn good.

Yes, of course, for me, i can be possibly stop in using the internet for a day or two. I can do that, because before i'm not used to use the internet, it's just simply sending letters for friends far from me..But nowadays, internet is important and i know billions of people around the world are using this high-tech device to communicate, to find new things, to chat,etc..But i will not die if one day i cant use the internet..lol

Its funny, but before there was internet, people used to carry around and use a funny shaped thing full of paper and words called a book! I think the internet has discouraged people from actually reading any more. I used to read 6 or8 books a week, now I'm lucky if I manage to get in one! Between the internet and television, publishing houses must be going bankrupt.
