According to articles regarding eating chicken, fats are accumulated in its skin which could hasten health problems in the future. This is the reason why when my family serves chicken for lunch or dinner we usually take it off before eating to avoid cholesterol build up that might cause problems in our blood circulation. This has been a usual thing for us until one day my mom read on article saying that chicken should be cooked with skin in it to prevent radiation to sink into its flesh while cooking. Doing what the articles says would prevent radiation effects to human beings. Then if the article is true and the other scenario applies? which is best to do?

I boil my chicken and cut it up in small bite pieces and put onions and celery in it I salt and pepper to taste and add other spices and then eat it on a sandwich or on a salad. In a large mixing bowl, I combine the chicken, oranges, pineapple and pecans. Then, I whisk together the mayonnaise, dill weed and sugar. Add it to the chicken mixture, toss well and refrigerate over night so flavors may blend.

Wow, that's a very interesting point of view. In my case, though I already know that chicken skin is bad for the health due to its rich cholesterol content, I still like it. I think eating chicken without its skin is like taking a bath without any water at all. It's boring and cutesy indeed.lol. But I will try to live a healthier lifestyle now. I'll try not to eat them.

I don't know how food can get radiation from cooking other than if you cook it in a microwave, and I'm still not sure of that. I can't see how boiling food can give radiation to the food. People have been cooking their food by boiling it for thousands of years. I think that story is bunk.
I take the skin off my chicken before I cook it. Depending on the recipe, I find boiling chicken first better. I will boil it to get it slightly cooked and get the blood out. I find that if I Shake and Bake chicken (for example) you get dried burnt blood on the ends of the drumsticks. Boiling it first prevents that. That is why it is suggested with all other meats to brown in the frying pan before using any other cooking process.
I used to eat chicken with the skin on it, but not anymore. Chicken that develops a skin from baking is different. It is not fatty and is edible.
