Today is our first wedding anniversary and i don't know what to give or surprise my wife. we can't travel since she's on her sixth month of pregnancy and we don't want to go to places that are not safe or would be endangering our baby. any suggestions on how to celebrate anniversaries? thanks a lot

You can surprise your wife by inviting her into a special dinner in a fabulous restaurant. Or you can just buy her a gift. Stuff that shes been longing to have. But for me, a dinner at home will just be fine. I think whatever you do to celebrate your anniversay will be appreciated by your wife.

Congraulations on your 1st year of marriage.I tell you what you can do to make it special since she is pregnant it is so cool you leave her litle hints all around the house for her leading up to a nice romantic candle dinner with flowers and candy and when your done with that put on some soft music and take her gently in your arms tell her how special she is and slow dance with her for as long as you like and then see if she has something special she would like to do you may be surprised yourself.Good luck and I hope this helps alittle go get em tiger.

Congratulations I think that it would be nice if you could make dinner for her so that she would not have to cook today do you know any delightful recipes that you could cook something nice for your wife, I think that it is best to stay at home and caress your wife and remind her of all the wonderful days you have had over this year with her.

Happy Anniversary! My only suggestion would be surprising her with her favorite flowers and then taking her out for supper, or order in if she doesn't feel like going out. Just a suggestion!

Happy 1st anniversary!! My husband and I have been married for almost 11 years. On our anniversary we celebrate for the whole weekend doing different things that we like. We have gone to the race track, state fairs, out to romantic dinners, the movies, we did travel one year, every year we try to do something different. My mom also takes our son for that weekend.

Awww, first of all this is so sweet of you to post this and to be searching for ideas of ways you can celebrate the love that you have for your wife. What a lucky woman she is!! I wish you two the best and a very happy marraige. With that being said, make her a meal...include her favorite foods, you could get her some flowers. I don't know what the area or the weather is like where you live but if it would work, you could take her one a nice evening picnic, somewhere where the sunset would be easily viewed. Suprise her with flowers at the picnic. If you write poetry..write her a poem..even if you don't write poetry, give it a try..even a short poem, I bet she would love it, since it would be all your own words. If you are financially able..women usually always love jewelry. Oh and at the end of the day, to end it on an even better note, don't forget to give her a foot massage..that is such a good feeling, especially when you are pregnant. I hope you have a great anniversary!!
