I like Paul,
He really explains the mystery: that the Gentiles would become part of the remnant or little flock of Jewish believers and that by means of this, all those who believed in Jesus would be saved.
John is a good read, too; because he speaks so much about love.
When I read the different books, I try to identify the theme running throughout, as a memory aid. I will write: love, the truth, the mystery, or whatever they are focusing in on, at the top of the page; later, if I'm looking for those topics, I can easily find the Bible book where they are being discussed.

..John, because I love his gospel the most.. and he was more spiritual/spacey/esoteric?/ - I just have always liked his gospel best.. he recorded a lot of the deeper things Jesus said.. especially the first chapter.. then 14, 15,16,17.. great stuff.. course they all are! Second, it might be Peter who felt he let Jesus down and cried hot tears of remorse..
