I was there last two weeks, to be exact on the 16 mar to 19 mar 07. I had been to Kuala Lumpur or as what Malaysian and Singapore people called it, KL, several times. I can never had enough of it..lol. If you prefer to do the shopping and clubbing, it is best to put yourself up at hotel in Jalan Bukit Bintang. I can recommend you the Federal Hotel, quite reasonable price and friendly service staff. Food is aplenty around here. You can savour the hawker stall at nite in Jalan Alor. Do visit the KL Petronas Twin tower and get yourself the ticket to go up the bridge at 40 floor for a spectacular view of KL. The ticket is free but be prepared to queue for it in the morning as it can be taken up fast especially during weekend and M'sia school holiday. Another place to visit is the nite market at the little india area or what local call Jln Masjid India. But the nite market is only on saturday which actually start at about 2 pm and last till late nite. This nite market had claimed that it is the longest in KL area. While you are there, try the Penang Laksa there, it awesome. If you intend to do clubbing go around Changkat Bintang, there are nice club and good people around. If you intend to visit the famous Petaling Street which is known for the good Chinese seafood and imitation goods, be very careful with your handbag. I had witnessed a pickpocket right in front of my eyes and helped to catch the culprit. You can also go to Genting Highland for a day trip if you have more day in KL. Take the bus from PuduRaya which cost RM6.00 for adult and RM4.30 for child and that a return ticket. KL have very wide range of food to try. As the saying goes, you go to KL, you can try all the food from all the Malaysian state. Do try the Keropok Lekor - its yummy. I better stop here, if not you will get bored. If you need more information, do message me. I will be glad to give you some tips. BTW, I'm not a Malaysian. Till then, enjoy your trip to Kuala Lumpur and have a safe journey.

It's like I have just been toured to Malaysia by Noyida. I am an armchair traveller mostly because this is the best thing to do if you don't have much money to travel. I watched some beautiful places in Malaysia through Living Asia Channel. I haven't been to Malaysia but if I go there I want to see the Petronas Towers and shop at Petaling Street. I want to try also the many mouth watering food that I've seen on TV especially those hot and curried Indian cuisines and the other Malaysian food as well.

I have been to Kuala Lumpur for like about ten times. This coming April I will be going there for a short trip as well. I would say that there are quite a lot of things that you can do here. For starters, the golden triangle area is where you can find shopping malls and nightlife at Changkat Bukit Bintang area. If you are nature lover, there are a lot of zoo and animal parks which definitely worth a visit when you are there. While you can go for some places with historical value too such as the Museum and stadium merdeka. If you are up to some gambling or colder environment, Genting Highland is the place you would want to go. While Cameron Highlands are filled with the greens.

i have been there and what i can suggest you to visit is our butterfly farm, petronas twin tower and KL tower. You also can go for shopping there. Museum Negara is another great place to visit, you will know more about malaysia from there. If you like space science, you can go to the national planetarium I have have been there and it's a good place to know about all outer space thing. Food i can say cheaper and mouth watering in KL you can go anywhere and get a nice food, not forgetting the street stall and night market, things are cheep there.
