Ok, I'm having a problem with an out of control poster. I haven't spoken to him but I noticed that he has posted about ten discussions within 12 minutes. I know that you can write your ideas and type them and post them quickly but some of his stuff isn't worth reading in my opinion. How do you feel about posters who post several discussions within minutes? Am I just being easy annoyed today or do I have a reason to complain?

I agree with you. It fills the list and pushes the other discussions down the board so quickly you hardly have a chance to read them before they are gone. I don't know what we can do about it though.

You have all the right to complain. I had one of my (previous) friends also today start ariound 20 or more discussions in a couple hours time. Most were very basic and generic discussions. Things that didn't really draw me to wanting to respond. After looking at about 10 of these discussions I decided to delete this friend from my list as I have better things to respond to than the generic discussions I see all over. Sorry to my friend but that's my choice.
Thanks for this discussion also.
HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!

They're trying to make money honey! Some discussions are meaningless. Well thought posts takes time to develop. You're looking for quality not quantity. Some folks don't see it that way they are solely here to earn a living. LOL

That really frustrates me too. I like coming here to myLot over other paid-to-post sites because there are more quality discussions and a lot less spam. However, it's really frustrating when I look at discussions with no replies and see that 7 out of 10 of them are by the same person, and they are usually asking really pointless, short questions. I know that they usually aren't even looking for a response, they just want to get as many posts as they can in a given time....

Well I just imagine giving 10 responses in12 minutes myself.I take atleast 7-8 minutes in thinking and typing the response.
Further if someone is posting 10 responses in 12 minutes he/she cannot covey his thoughts properly, it will be just for the sake of responding nad increasing your number.
Yes it do make us annoyed if we see these type of responses for the discussions or if someone just copy the previous responses or just respond ina sentence saying "Yes I also agree with you".
There is one way to punish such responses , give them a - rating.

When one of my friends starts shooting out discussions, one after the other filling up my mail box, I turn off their notify button. I, personally don't intend to spend all my time on one person's discussions, many of which are hardly worth discussing. You asked how we feel when this happens? I feel very annoyed when someone does this.

I have seen more than one person do this. One in particular posts about 10 discussions every day.
I just delete the notifications of his disccussions.
I was responding to one or two, but as he is acting inappropiately, I ignore all his chats now.
