One of my daughter's is only about a year older than your son. I do remember on her 3 year check up the doctor telling us that she should only be having at the most 4 cups of milk a day, because milk has a lot of fat in it. The rest of the day's drinking should be water. Doctors and dentists recommend that you start weaning children from a bottle before their 1st birthday so they are drinking from cups by the age of 1.
When we switched from bottle to cup, we did it by just giving sippy cups and getting rid of the bottles. It is easier to do it when they are younger, because there is no emotional attachment to bottles then, they just see them as a food source.
If your son doesn't like the sippy cups you could just use regular cups. If at first he's unsure about it, maybe go to the store and let him pick out his "own special" cup. That way he will feel like he's part of the decision in the whole change.
Good Luck

It is god to hear that your son drinks 10 bottles of milk daily not bad but even at this stage if he is used to this it may lead decaying his teeth,so it is better to feed him witha glass you just divert him whenever you make him drink with a glass mostly make him drink infront of elderones or by telling stories which makes him things different, always use a different variety of glasses everytime which attracts them and it may work.

He should have been off of the bottle a long time ago, my son was off just after his 1st birthday. Using the bottle for this long is really bad for his teeth.
You must get him using a cup, give him rewards or just toss the bottles and let him go cold turkey, no bottle, it is gone, it is broken, if you want to drink, you must use a cup.

Have you talked to your son's doctor about this? It seems like he shouldn't be drinking that much milk a day. He should be eating from a plate like the rest of the family and getting enough there that he isn't hungry for milk in such large amounts.
He is too old to be taking it from a bottle though. I would get him one of those little cups for toddlers with cute pictures and make a big deal about how he is a big boy now so he gets to use a big boy cup. He may fuss for a while, but he will get used to it if you stick with it. Good luck.
