I loved this movie! This is a movie that makes you think. Everyday we live life, many times, forgetting to stop to appreciate what we have. I am thankful for everything God has blessed me with. Are You???

I also really liked it. I love Queen Latifa in all things forever because she's an awesome, beautiful, and big woman. I to am grateful for my blessings.

I totally agree. I think she has changed the way people see big women. She is an awsome actor who I believe should get more recognition. Thanks for responding. Really appreciate it!

When this movie first came out, I wasn't able to see it, but I was able to get the movie and I truly fell in love with the movie; What I liked about it is Queen Latifah's determination to have some good times before this illness she really didn't understand take her life; She also realized that the things she was passing up, eating her gourmet food instead of Lean Cuisine, going after LL Cool J instead of daydreaming of him, and taking the adventure of a lifetime instead of playing it safe wasn't really helping her when she was at the end of hers, which is why she went away to that hotel and quite an adventure she had.

That is good to hear. SO many people go years without ever thanking GOd for their blessing. God Bless!

Although I have seen this movie many times before- I am actually watching it right now. Which is what made me do a search for a discussion on mylot about it. I love this movie and it does make a very valid point- reminds me of a saying I once heard....Yesterday is history, Tomorrow is a mystery- today is a gift which is why it's call the present. I encourage those who have not seen this movie to take the time and enjoy it. It may just open your eyes to make you aware of the things in life that are actually important. Don't ever forget- the most important things in life - aren't even things.
