A friend confided to me about his love life and asked me, "can love be learned or not?"
Can you help me untangle this question?

If he is asking can he learn to love someone he currently doesn't than yes he can--but will he be happy?
If he was asking can he learn to love--then maybe suggest him seeing a councellor as he may be trying to work through intimacy issues caused by something from when he was little.
