Good for you! As for me, I am currently using a free-version antivirus, which is Avira AntiVir Personal Classic Edition. I have been using this software for almost two years. Since using it, I have never encountered any problems at all with regards to the overall function and system performance of my machine. Otherwise, I am so impressed and satisfied with its performance. It updates regularly and this can be scheduled at your most convenient time. It is very light on resources and does not eat a lot of memory. Hence, it does not slow down your computer. It detects and deletes rootkits, worms, viruses, etc. Overall, I am quite impressed with its jobs.
Have a nice day ahead of you!

Im using AVAST and it works well. Its free and you dont have to pay anything. It updates automatically from the internet. I really like it when you hear " your virus database has been updated".(Cool!!).I've tried AVG but it consumes more memory and resources so my computer hangs everytime. I dont say its not good maybe not for my
computer system. The important thing is you have some
antivirus protecting your system especially when your online all the time. Keep the virus away!!(I hate spyware)

AVG, Avast, and NOD32 are good. I believe NOD32 is a paid one, but it works similar to AVG. I prefer AVG or Avast because they are free. It seems that Norton just charges too much and I don't like paying subscription fees for three computers so it is just easier to run a free version. Thanks a lot.
