do you think global warming will be more serious on the next 10 years?

i have seen movies concerning global warming..
the day after tomorrow and of course the inconvenient truth..
both movies are unsettling..
they showed how serious global warming can be..
they showed how tremendous the consequences of human activities ..
every year, the planet' climate is getting worst..
icecaps melting..
stronger typhoons/hurricanes..
are we on the verge of going to the plot of "the day after tomorrow?"

We should be aware of the sensitive issue that is needs to be checked ASAp. We should ourselves take some initiatives from our end too . We should be using Flourescent light bulbs, houses should be properly insulated, reduction in public transport to or use fuel efficient cars, use solar energy as much as possible .. hope our concerns can put us in good seat in the coming years.

yeah,i think it will be more and more dangerous for biology in the earth and will keep worse climate than today for a long time even we adopt lots of steps to prevent our planet ffom more and more warming such as decrease of CO2 increasing, because it has a inertia. i am pessimistic very much! nothing but blessing human

i think yes, if the world is going in the same state as of now, certainly global warming has got many things to do and we have to be aware of that.

In regards to global warming yes I am sure that in the next 10 years that it will be a lot worse than it is now if we are still on this planet. The whole world will have to do something now to stop our world from getting worse than it is already.

ya it is cause as global warming is increasing the ice starts melting that cause the increase of water level of all rivers and seas and most of our plant start taking dips in seas and then all of us know what will happens to us

yeah i think so. i for sure know that the ozone is irreplacable. so that means, the hole on it cannot be covered. and the only thing to do is to prevent it from growing further bigger.

I think its gonna be worse in the coming years. Its already startde showing traits of it. The winters in our coutry were longer than before, and i think this is because of Global Warming only. The Day After Tomorrow kinda situation can ofcourse arise if measures are not taken to curb the growing pollution.

i think it will get more serious but hopefully not in ten years. i believe theres a solution for this but not practical, by releasing sulfur gas it will block the heat of the sun from entering our planet and thus cooling it a bit. but again its not practical as sulfur gas are not friendly. if we want it to stop getting worse we should start with ourselves. our computer alone generates a lot of heat and if we can limit our time using it, or more effectively turn it off when not using it because i know some people here leave their PCs on, then it can help a bit. it might be a small thing but its better that making it worse.

Yes, its a very serious issue, and an issue that we should all be ready for.In the coming years nature will get back what we have taken from her.

Global warming , now a days a global environmental issue. I can site an example. If global warming persist many areas of Bangladesh that is close to sea will drawn down to water. It's one of the impact. So we need to create a global forum to find out how to bypass this global warming. Actually we cann't stop industrilization , more motor cars on the street. But we have to find out alternative way to solve the matter. Am I right?

I think the climate of the world goes in cycles. These days we are so big putting label on things and saying what it is caused by.I would rather see global warming than global cooling. Can you imagine if we were getting colder it could lead to another ice age. I would rather be warm than cold.

Miss,I agree with you.I am so worried about this. These years, when winter comes,I can not see the snow. But when i was young, you can see the snow everywhere.I like snow very much,it is a fact that maybe i will never see the snow in my hometown except other places. It make me sad when i realize this.

Yeap lexxie3 nice topic.I agree. We're really on the verge of "the day after tomorrow" and after ten years it can be worse.High level melt downs were recorded on the south and north poles making ocean levels higher than the normal. If this occurences continues, we're in deep trouble. One thing is common, CFC's. These is the main cause of global warming effect on the earth. These chemicals are emitted mostly from airconditioners, refrigerators and hair sprays making the ozone layer(ultra violet ray filter)thinner.
If we don't do something about this, we would end up like "the day after tomorrow" + "armageddon"

I think it will be. If you see, nowdays we can see a lot of vehicle, factory and generators that using gas, petrol and diesel alot. These petrol and gas produce Carbon Monoxide although not much, they do release some. So unless we reduce using this type of vehicle or the factory stop producing carbon gas, global will be worst in the next future.

I know from the news that the north pole is melting, they will do the right thing to prevent global warming, i think it will be more and more dangerous for biology in the earth and will keep worse climate than today for a long time even we adopt lots of steps to prevent our planet from more and more warming such as decrease of CO2 increasing, because it has a inertia,i am pessimistic very much, that we will free from that, nothing but blessing human

i guess yes. If people and government will not take global warming seriously today we might end up cooking our food outside because of too much heat. They should find out ways to fix the problem with global warming and people should also help in their own way.

Yes. It's not far that we are going to that direction if human race will not do something to at least prevent it to happen. It is really serious. The Incovenient Truth is not just a movie made from imagination of a fiction writer but a product of scientific research and findings where data was gathered by no less than the former vice president of the US Al Gore and he was so concerned about it. It is my opinion that he wants to reach a vast number of peoples of the world to disseminate this awareness and this is by making a film.
Maybe, you would like also to see the movie Absolute Zero.

This is a subject of utmost importance to be dealt with at the earliest.I think, industrialisation and the excessive use of vehicles are the prime culprits.Industrialisation is being done in a large scale in europe, especially. The europeans hesitate to move from their life style, and the other people are trying to copy their life style .These all contribute to this issue .Unless we do something now this will lead us to a great disaster.

Well, yeah, I always thought global warming always getting worse in every year. I'm afraid that there will be no earth in future.
In other opinion, there will be no earth after 30,000 years... Or will it? I'm assuming too much anyway, if there's a really good technology going, that may save earth.
