Yeah i am offcourse. you know what i do swim very well. But still i am afraid while travelling in large bodies of water. I suppose when i was 14 year old i went out on a trip with my school mates and we were supposed to travel by the river to see a museum. I was soo scared and felt my heart pounding in my stomach. ewww i felt dizzy and i couldnt withstand that nervous felings just slipped off the top of the ship and went into the cabin. :( but i love to travel on ships :D

oh yes, i'm scared to travel by sea. I'm scared of big bodies of water like an ocean. Maybe because I don't know how to swim. When I was young, I almost drowned and I haven't gotten over the fear I had while I was drowning. So everytime I go swimming, I don't go towards the deep area and as much as possible I wouldn't swim in a beach. So I'd be really scared to be in a ship.

nope, Im not! But my Fiance is! I have been on a cruise before! And it was wonderful! You dont even know your on a boat, on the ocean, moving. Its really peaceful and beautiful. I think it was one of my best experiances. I would suggest it to everyone who has never been on a ship before.

nope, not scared..unless the sea has shark in it?? haha. i've been on a cruise before and it was ok, but there was once when i was on a ship on my way to paris, i got seasick and couldn't even do a single thing, i had to lie down and couldn't even eat. that was the only bad experience i had when travelling by ship. i didn't think that would happen because i have been on ships a couple of times before that, and i was fine.

The mental image of going overboard is rather unsettling, especially if one doesn't know how to swim or has a very strong phobia about drowning and such in the past. It can get your heart racing just even before you ride the ship, lol.
I'm not really afraid to travel by ships but my mom does get a little seasick/dizzy when we're on one which really fires up her hypertension especially if the ship rocks too much. I really don't know how to swim but I know how to stay afloat in water for minutes which by in time, hopefully, someone will be able to spot me the very moment I fall into the deep ocean; I don't get too much nervous since I always keep in mind that "I am not alone" and someone will be there to save me.. But traveling on a cold stormy night would be a very different story and I tend to steer clear of the side rails thinking that it'd be pretty hard to save anyone who happens to slip out to the sea on such conditions, with that engulfing darkness and those angry waves, let alone - JAWS!...
