Did you ever had encountered with cops

I first had an encounter with cops when someone accused us of vandalizing. We slept at the police station and just had released at morning. It was somewhat scary at first to be at a police station but now, im not afraid anymore of them. Being in the police station surrounded by many policemen made me realized that we should never be afraid of the police because they are human justa like us.

Only once.. I was in this different city, and I wasn't wearing my seat belt while driving, so the cops stopped my car and fined me.. I had to pay the fine as I was new to that city and I didn't know it was mandatory to wear seat belts in that city.. But the encounter was pretty easy one...

luckily i havent encountered anything with cops or break any rules to encounter with cops. I was too afraid of them, you'll never if they are good or bad cops. You would be so unlucky if you messed with bad cops. So be good everyone or else.

i have encountered one and we were asked why we are hanging out by the streets. i don't like how he approached us. as if we are going to do crimes or something.

I encounter cops all the time, but that's because I'm a Police Volunteer... so I guess I would have to say that all my encounters have been good.

cops are really helpful except some. I have worked with them and had a good experience.

Well I have had a few driving tickets with cops so i learned from my mistakes of driving from them.

I have been around the cops quite a few times. When I was younger I accumulated 7 speeding tickets and 2 car accidents whick resulted in 2 reckless driving tickets. I also have gotten a dwi and have been at the scene of the crime. None of my encounters were good. I very much dislike police.

yes i did i dated on of them..lol most of the cops i have met were friends of friends i never had any problems with the police or with cops. and i do not planning on starting now..:)

I am a 911 Dispatcher, so I have plenty of encounters with "cops" daily. Most of the people you'll get that have had bad experiences or dislike cops are people that have been in trouble with the law. It is not a cops fault that you are driving while intoxicated, or speeding or anything else of that nature. They are doing their job. If you like for your experiences with Police to be pleasant, then do not break the law and if you do happen to speed (and we all do occasionally) be pleasant when they give you a ticket or stop you. The nicer you are, the better chance you have to possibly only get a warning. The nastier you are, the more chance that you will have a negative experience. Respect the police, because one day, hopefully not, you may just need them !!

Yes I did I called the cops because sombody was harassing us and it turns out they had a warrant for my arrest and it was for a small thing but they took me 2 jail and I had to ride in the car and my husbnand called my mom and dad they came to the jail and bonded me out and it's something I will never forget and never want to repeat.

we had one not too long ago! we got a ticket for speeding boohoohoo! it was bad because of the situation we met them in but the Cop was a true gentleman, explained why he caught us gave us the ticket and sent us back into the traffic with a " Pls drive carefully sir". So yeah it was helpful 'cos he put the fear of God in us, we never crossed the speedlimit all the way back home it was 8hrs drive after he caught us!
