First, if you are having difficulty gaining weight, you might want to get a doctor checkup. He or she can help you determine a nutritious diet you can stick with. Proteins like cheese, chicken, broccoli, beans, spinach, etc., will be vital, but you will want a balance. Exercising with weights will give you a larger appearance if you are more interested in looking bigger than if you need to add weight for a health reason. Certain vitamins are helpful in building muscle mass and size and quality of muscle such as DMAE and CLA. Depending on how much weight you want to gain, you should make sure your bones & muscles are strong enough to maintain it and eat calcium rich foods accordingly. If you are doing this for an overall better appearance, try to gain slowly without too much junk food so that your hair and skin can adjust to the changes in your metabolism. Best wishes.

Step 1 Once you reach target, add 250 calories a day to your existing daily calorie intake. This means if you’ve been having 1,250 calories each day, you should now have 1,500 calories a day.
Step 2 After a week, weigh yourself on your usual scales. You’ll probably have lost a little more weight. If so, add another 250 calories to last week’s daily allowance. So, if you were having 1,500 calories a day, now have 1,750 calories daily.
Step 3 After a week, weigh yourself again. If you’ve lost more weight, add an extra 250 calories to your daily intake, for example from 1,750 calories to 2,000 calories each day.
Step 4 After a week, if your weight has stabilised that’s the amount of calories you need each day to keep your new slim shape. If you’ve gained a tiny amount, drop your daily calorie intake by 100 calories, for example, from 2,000 calories to 1,900 calories daily. After a week, weigh yourself again. If your weight has stayed the same, that’s the amount of calories you need each day for weight maintenance. If your weight has gone up or down, juggle your daily calorie intake by 50 calories a day until your weight eventually stabilises.
Step 5 Weigh yourself once a week on your usual scales until you are confident that you’re maintaining your healthy weight.

Our body burns calories when you use your mind and body in excess amount. Like thinking too much, too stressful, jogging, exercising, going for a long walk, and doing household stuff. Just reduce these and keep eating nutritious foods. And get back to me when you have tried them.

ever tried eating? lol! seriously, though, there are a lot of people who, despite eating too much, still do not grow big sideways. it's because they have fast metabolism. you might be one of these lucky people.

It is really sad to see there always two types of people on everything in this world, one wants to lose weight, others want to gain weight. If you are really thin and want to gain weight but also wants to be healthy, eat a lot of vegetables and fruits and eat a lot food whatever is there without oil. Eat a lot of snacks and watch tv without any exercise.
