With Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriquez's new movie 'Grindhouse' coming out soon, I started to wonder which part was going to be a better movie. Since Rodriquez's deals with zombies, and I love my zombie flicks, I will probably enjoy that one more. Not to mention my feelings on how over-rated Tarantino is.
Then I got to thinking, who is my favorite director? They are the person responsible for everything you see on the screen, after all. I'd have to say Kevin Smith. I love his long, dialog laden, discussions about anything, but mostly nothing.
What directors do you guys like? Lets see if I can actually get some opinions on this one!

Martin Scorsese. The Man. The genius. Scorsese has brought us some of the best films to date; Raging Bull, Taxi Driver, Goodfellas, and ones that will live forever.

Yes, Oliver Stone has given us many great films. Great choice. Tarantino is just copying what has come before him with little originality, but he does have his fans. Thanks!
