Do you sacrifice your sleep time to study or work? Is it painstaking?

I am very sleepy now. It's been 12 o'clock p.m and I still need to infuse some more new words into my head. This question just occured to me. I know everyone had suffered the staying up all night thing before. Like cramming before the exam, catching up the deadline etc. I totally understand that if you wanna be outstanding, you got to pay out. I am not complaining. I just wanna know how you felt when you were so tired but had to keep working or studying.

Yes when i was in college i often sacrifice my sleep for my studies specailly my final defense in our thesis. I remember i was awake for almost 42 hours that time. Now that im working at night I found my self very hard to sacrifice my sleep during the day.Feel so sleepy so even weeknds even though i have to meet friends of my boyfriend I still choose to stay at home the sleep the whoile day.I guess that the bad effect ot me of working at night.I have no time anymore for the peope around me.

I sacrifice sleep time to take my daughter to swimming training. One morning it is 5.00 am that I have to get up.
