I just thought I'd pop in and write a quick note to let everyone know that I'm still around. I'm sorry I haven't had time to write in so long, but that's what happens during tax season (I'm a CPA). On that note, tax season will be ending soon (or as we say slowing down until October), so I should have more time to write soon.

It's nice to see you back here. I was pretty sure I knew what you were tied up with (joy, joy!). My job has been pretty demanding so far this year, and I'm only part time. I've also got a high school reunion coming up in April, then my oldest granddaughter's wedding in June. The best thing I'm looking forward to is my husband's retirement sometime after July 1. Of course, he's much more excited about it than I am...LOL.

Mind if I ask what year for your reunion? I've never gone to any of my reunions, nor do I care to, but I wouldn't mind hearing about yours sometimes.
Wow your grand daughter's wedding. I can't even imagine. Will it be close to home?
What do you have planned for your husband's retirement? Will you be having a party? Do you plan on traveling? What does he want to fill his days doing?

I understand what you are going through. I am also swamped right now. Looking forward to the slow season. I am almost burned out. I haven't even made the min, payout this month because I am hardly on. Times is starting to free up. Yippee

Slow season is great at first and then just boring...at least for me. Don't work so hard you're burned out. It won't do you or anyone else any good. Take a break. I know it seems like you shouldn't or can't, but it'll be worth it.

With a job like a CPA you'll at least be able to go to a pamper spa if you want to after it's over with that has plush beds, room service, whirlpool tub, beauty parlor on the grounds, etc. without batting an eyelash! Am I right or not!?!...
