How much exercise does a pug need?

my pug is is in a cage for a day i only let him out every night before i go the office . is 1 hour a day enough for him or he needs more time outside?

Your dog needs attention, exercsie and time to play. One hour a day outside of the cage is not enough. Your dog will soon be come bored and self destructive and when given the opportunity will destroy things out of boredom.
If the best you can do for that dog is an hour a day, please give it to someone who will love it.
My guys are alone for about 6 hours a day, and when I come home, they are happy to see me and never leave my side. They are never crated. I can't imagine an hour a day outside of the crate. That is abuse.

You are abusing that dog, and someone needs to report you to Animal Control. Disgusting.
