I think Kobe Bryant should be MVP, he has been doing well since Shaq joined Heats. He got 4 games with at least 50 points, (81, 71, 60, this one i'm not sure)

There's no way Kobe Bryant is the MVP of the NBA... it's nothing against Kobe, but he's just not at the league that Steve Nash or Dirk Nowitzki are right now. Steve Nash has gotten even better this season, if that's possible. He might run away with a third consecutive MVP award. Nash has been successful with the Suns, who are primed to win their 3rd consecutive Pacific Division title, even though the lineups have been constantly changing around him and players have been back and forth for the Suns. He's successfully re-incorporated Amare Stoudemire into the team's mix. Dirk, meanwhile, is the best player on the best team in the league. The Mavs could win 66-70 games this season... I mean, how can you argue against Dirk at this point. To consider voting for Kobe, you'd first have to decide that you aren't going to vote for one of those two guys. Can you legitimately argue that Kobe is better than those two this season? I highly doubt it.

Yeah, I sorta of agree with you. My second guess is Steve Nash, would be MVP, if he had never played with Sun, Steve Nash would never realize he can be MVP... I think Sun have found a match for Steve Nash. It's irony, if Steve Nash stayed with Dallas, Dallas may never realize Steve Nash is a MVP from now.

Well, as they said in one of the games from the recent Los Angeles Lakers - Phoenix Suns playoff series, the comparison between Kobe Bryant and Steve Nash was: the most talented basketball player today against the most valuable baller around (or something to that effect). I can't disagree. They're just that: talent versus value.

Dirk Nowitski played well during the regular season. I will not vote for him though, if i have the chance, because his team is struggling in the playoffs. Steve Nash is also an option. His high octane team scores a lot of points and that's because of his floor leadership. It's unlikely for him to get the award three times in a row, though. That's because he doesn't have any ring to show off. If the Suns won the championship last year then my vote would be for Nash. That would leave me with Kobe. His six consecutive 50+ game is just an excellent feat. Even MJ didn't do it in his time (though defense is tougher during those times). He can score whenever he wants to. He can also pass the ball if that is needed to win. He's a good leader. My only concern is that his team is biting the dust of the Suns.

i love kobe he is fun to watch and i think he is the best guard currently but because of his team record i dont think he can be the mvp nash is the most deserving player he is awesom in assist and score he she be the MVP 3r year in a row, but to my mind they dont want him to be MVP 3rd time in a row wo dirk might be the MVP this season lets see

steve nash. nash is averaging double-double this season, again and as usual. having 15 points and 13 assists a game is a lot better than scoring 50 points all by yourself. nash has a tremendous ability to get his teammates involved in the game. and he's such a great clutch player too. phoenix will win the title and nash will win both regular season and finals mvp awards. what a season by the suns. kobe might have his chance again next year
