My lot and all the rest promising wealth and happiness

I have stuck my finger in a number of pies when it comes to these websites promising a little bit of money back for eg. using their search engine, posting discussions, filling in surveys. I've had a good run with some of them but not much with most. I think there is about a ten to one chance with these things of getting somewhere. What do people think, are these things a waste of time or should i just enjoy them for their other features? Does anyone know of any sites with a good return?
