So how often do you get together with your entire family, including your extended family for a family reunion?? I know with us we are all scattered throughout the United States that makes it much more difficult to do on a regular basis and although it is usually like every 5 years that we do get together and every time we do we say that we need to do this on a more regular basis like every year, it never happens, sometimes life just gets too fast for us. So what about you, how many times do you get together with all of your family members for a huge family reunion? Any great stories??

we're all scattered all over the philippines so, it's so difficult to gather up us all together in one place in a specific date and time.
our clan plans it always once a year, usually every december. we spend some days together in a certain place as decided. my brother and i were able to join the last year's reunion. and it was fun! getting to know more relatives, being with the relatives i haven't seen for a long time, seeing how much my cousins and i have grown and much more. it's really great to get together sometimes.

We used to all get together once a year the whole bunch of us. But every year it seemed somebody was fighting with somebody else and then each year less and less people showed until no one was even interested anymore.

so far, my entire family including some 'out'laws, get together for 3-5 days either in late July or early August. Some of us also get together over the fourth of July long weekend...but it is more the immediate family. I'm very happy that, so far, even with divorces, etc. all are able to get together and visit once a year.

Once a year for us usually. Once a year during Chinese New Year. We have what we call "Reunion dinner". The meaning is literal - we come together and reunite. :P

There is only two sisters left. All of us are sick. So, we do not get together, even if one of us were to die, we cannot afford it. We are all over the USA.

Luckily we are all located within the same state, with a few exception's. So we get together atleast once a year to celebrate my grandmother's birthday. It is a must, for all our family, regardless of what may be going on, most of us make it. I love to spend time with my family and try to see each other as often as I can.

my mom tries to have a big family reunion each year, but not all of the family comes, because we are so spread out, usually it takes someone getting married or someone dying to have everyone together like we would like. I wish it wouldn't be like that but sometimes that is just how things are.

Well, once upon a time my family (parents and kids) lived together, but that is no more and we would have a hard time now getting together for a family reunion! I, the oldest, live in Austria, one sister lives in Madrid, the youngest sister in Australia, one brother in New York City and the other brother in the Dominican Rep! Occasionally we get together, but in groups of two mostly. The one that is more difficult to see is the sister that lives in Australia, as it is too far away and cost $ to get there! I forgot to mention that my mother lives in Canada, although she is contemplating moving to Uruguay, as she was born there. My father passed away many years ago in the Dominican Rep.

My family get together once in two years coz my other family are so far from me,it's hard to travel and it needs a lot of money to go there. Before when i'm still in the philippines we can get together 3 times a year coz we just so close,so it's not hard to travel. That's my story.

Both my wife and my family hold family reunions yearly. Also both sides usually get together for the Christmas season. My family also tries to get together around Thanksgiving.

We don't get togather any more. I remeber growing up we had family reunions about every 2-4 years. But since I have grown up we just don't have them any more. I guess it's for the best though because not many can afford to travel these day's.

We have a family reunion every year in either June or July. There is only a couple of us that live outside our home state and for us it's only about an hour and a half drive. One thing we do is have an auction. Everyone brings something wrapped up (in any shape or form) and we auction it off. It can be something useful or a practical joke. It's a great way to earn money for the following years reunion. We use that money to have it catered, activities for the kids, and for the pavillion.

normally,we will gather together for a reunion in the Spring festival,Chinese most important festival.the place may be chose in one of our relatives, and have a rich launch or dinner .around the table ,while talking about what happened around himself in this year,or saying something about the planning in the next year and bless everyone at the presence of occasion.we were socked in the happy atmosphere . besides ,i remember, the custom that the elder of age should distribute the money packed by a red paper to every children.so,they are the one to ultimatly benefit from every new year
