I was terrified!

I was doing my thing in the house not too long ago, when I spotted a snake. A snake! In my house!
I lost it! I jumped up on the chair, shrieking my lungs out, then I was crying and hollering. I am not afraid of snakes. I am terrified of them. I mean, full scale phobia, here! My daughter and my ailing husband finally got rid of it. I don't know and don't care how! I don't even know what kind it was! I finally calmed down after about a half an hour.
I'm not afraid of too many things. I can handle spiders, mice and things like that! Just don't let a snake get near!

If it is smaller than you all you have to do is drop something HEAVY on it. Then get someone else to clean it up.

What? No snakes where you live? Do you have an extra bedroom?

I can understand phobias. I'm not afraid of snakes though. I have had one that I was taking care of. I'm a foster mother to animals and had to take care of a boa. Now I know you would really be afraid of that one. Those are huge. I'm sorry that you got so afraid. Hope things are better and calming down more for you.

You got that right--I wouldn't want to be anywhere near it. I think you have the right "name"! lol

Haha that's funny..I'm not afraid of snakes. I used to own two ball pythons. I do have a couple of funny snake stories though.
One time my snake got out of his aquarium. I couldn't find him anywhere. My niece and my brother (20 and 21) they were both having a fit because they were scared. My niece was screaming and yelling walking around poking everything with a broom, my brother was scouting around with a baseball bat.. I was laughing so hard I couldn't even look for the poor snake. Well I got to thinking, if I was a snake and it was cold and I was out of my home where would I find heat. His aquarium was on the top of the entertainment center and had a heater beneath it. On the shelf below were books, and lots of them. I took a peek and there he was all curled up in the space on top of the books up against the bottom of the top shelf where the heat was from his tank heater...I picked him up and put him back. It took them a half hour to settle down from their frenzy...lol
The best is when my friend and I were 17 we were walking to the store and it was dusk. Here we were just walking along and all of a sudden my friend screams "Oh please" and jumps right on me.. After recovering from the shock of her jumping on me I found out...she thought a stick was a snake... I still tease her about it 30 years later...hehe

You would have split a gut watching me--but I don't think it's funny! I know there are people who have snakes for pets...I'll never understand!!!!

I hope you never see a snake. I'm sorry you are scared of other things, though. It must make you pretty cautious to go anywhere.

OMG! I would have passed out. I am soooo afraid of snakes. I think they are the only thing that truly frightens me.

Okay, you talk my language. I don't know why I didn't pass out. I think I was too hysterical!
