I just saw in the news recently that the Philippines is the most corrupt country. I'm not sure if its just in Asia or world. For me, I agree but I not all of our government officials are corrupt. They are in the government position so the temptation are really high on the side. I hope we will be a corrupt free country by 2010 hopefully or a little improvement will do for me.

What can we expect from a President who grabbed the highest position of the land? Naturally, when she grabbed the Presidency, she does not like to be out and so what happened? They cheated to remain in power. And what is happening? They will keep on cheating naturally. If the leadership is not good, we can't expect the lower personnel to be good as that is chain reaction and so the product is rampant graft and corruption. It is not the media that is corrupt. The media are not the ones making the news, they just give the news for people to know. May be sometimes news men exaggerate but the fact is that they got the news from somewhere to deliver it to the people.

For me, I still believe in her. I know she's making the best what she could do. You cannot diminished that problem instantly since our country has many problems and it was common way back on President Marcos term. It was a corruption that until now Filipinos we suffer. Let's just unite and work for the common good of our country.

Ha ha yeah its sure corrupt country. But for me, we can help this country little by little. Corruption is really practiced first by the children so we must teach them the right way even this is just in a small little way it could lead to big difference in many years to come. Just a thought though.

yes I think of that once in a while. How about making a policy like in Japan. If you will be caught committing a crime specially robbery your finger will be cut. That would be shameful in your part if people will saw you that you no finger it means your a robber.

There is no denying of that because the chief executive is the most corrupt president in the entire history of the Philippines. His generals are also the most corrupt and she stays in power because of this generals.Naturally it breeds corruption in the entire military and political arena.

There is no such thing as corrupt-free country and I greatly agree that the Philippines is one of the most corrupt, if not the most corrupt country in terms of politics.
Once your in the position, money flows like storm. Bribes from businessmen, international investors, smugglers, etc cash in like wildfire in exchange for illegal opportunities here. Aside from those, officials get a great access to the national budget so they can get as much money as they want.
I don't think there is any solutions to that. Our officials are just humans, susceptible to earthly goods. It is just a matter of coscience and sense of nationality right now.
