What diseases would you rather not have?

Well, this isn't a body killing desease BUT, I would not ever want to have Alzehiemers. That disease scares me! The thought of waking up one day and not knowing my son, looking at his beautiful blue eyes and his lopsided mischeivious smile and not knowing who he was. Forgetting my friends, my family, my memories, the laughs I've had. Forgetting all of the trips and travels I've had. My grandfather got this disease. I was (sorry to admit but true) his favourite child. I remember being 15 years old and going over to visit him one day and he looked at me and told me to get out of his house he didn't know me. It HURT me so badly. I understand, now that I'm older but I would never want to do that to my children, grandchildren or those I love.

i don't think any disease is worth having. but i'd rather die of a heart attack than cancer.. or a fatal skin disease that would make people scared at you like you're some kind of a walking epidemic. I think that would really be sad for me.

i would hate to have aids my parents would really kill me if i had that disease.

I don't want to have a cancer, AIDS and diabetes.

I think I won't want to have *any* disease. Any disease, no matter how "small" is still a disease. I don't want any if possible. :P

i don't wanna have diabetes.it's not literally painful (body),your pocket will feel the pain.you have to =take continues medication,for those who are in later stage of it the complications are,kidney,high blood pressure,uncontrolled sugar count.most of all being a diabetic person you have to take good care of yourself,you must not have wound.because it will took a long time before it actually heals.i hate the feeling,you can't eat everything you want to because it's bad for you.

The two diseases that I never ever want to have is Cancer and Aids. I think those are the most painful diseases. With aids you die and cancer is treatable but your lucky if you don't suffer with it.

Cancer and AIDS are on the top of my list of diseases that I don't want.

Getting Cancer back again is my worse fear I have survived 10 years without it coming back I just don't want it to happen again Been there doen that Hate for onyone tohave to go through that agony and be sooo sick from treatments Wendy

i would not want to have alzheimer's disease. first because this disease makes you forget. you will forget the things you learned, even the most basic ones. you will also forget the lessons you learned in life. and most of all, you will forget all the good memories you had. this is what i am afraid of, i'd rather die with all the thoughts of love and support that i received from my loved ones than staying alive with no idea of who or what i have been as a person.

You are upbeat today honey aren't you? Think Cancer is the big one that everyon wants to avoid! Next on my list would be malaria, my grandad caught this many years ago whilst serving in North Africa in the second world war but as it can never be cured I have memories of him 50 years later having episodes of it - and it terrified me! Even at 80 he was a strong , reliable man but when he suffered an episode of Malaria he would be a trembling, shivering form going into spasms and screaming in pain while he burnt up and sweat pored out of him! We had a scare last year when we thought my 23 year old niece had caught it whilst travelling but luckily she had caught salmonella , not pleasant but ultimately better than malaria x

Wish I could do without diabetes. I get so tired of sticking myself three times a day to check my blood sugar and then sticking myself again with an insulin injection if the blood sugar is too hig. Guess I shouldn't complain though. It could be worse. My mother in law has lung cancer and it has spread to her bone. She is undergoing radiation and chemo and is getting weaker every day.

perhaps losing your mind is the worst one when that happens you have no choices left and are not even totally aware of whats happening even if and when you are then, still not allowed choices a few years later, you feel better but aren't even quite sure you are, still no choices cuz of that label

i would rather avoid the AIDS or the HIV..

Leukemia, cancer of the blood or bone marrow, very painful very expensive I hear and I would not want to go through it.

I wouldn't want any really painful disease, or one that would take away my motor functions so that I would end up paralysed...To end up completely paralysed is something I pray I never have to go through.

There are many long term diseases out there and honestly, I wouldn't like any of them. If something were to kill me, I'd rather die of a heart attack in my sleep. Less painful for me, and my family would not have to see me suffer for months with something such as Cancer or Leukemia or something like that.

Being ignored is the most traumatic, emotional and unfavorable illness any person could ever have.

There isnt any inparticular, did i spell that right?, disease that I would rather not have but I would not want to have lung cancer, I have heard that that also is very unpleasant. Good question

I'd just go with no disease. lol XD
