i really plan to go to atleast one beach this summer! and to go to the best! the most beautiful and fun! i've never been to any significant beach like boracay, puerto gallera, and the likes...
what do you suggest to be the best one for me and my friends? please include budget needed, okay? we're not on a very loose nor a very tight budget.. just reasonable... thanks!

Hi there, you were the second person that I have encountered and never thought of being a 'kabayan' also!;)
Well, I've been to many beaches and almost fell in-love to some of them.
I've been to Bagasbas, in northern Bicol and they have beaches there with strong waves, but it's too tricky to swim in it.
Been to Isla Verde, an island in Batangas and I stayed there for about three days, along with my friends. The experience we have there is very good, though the beach floor has sharp-edged rocks in it.
Pagudpud, in Ilocos Norte is also a good place to spend the summer. The natural whitesand beach is somewhat like paradise, I think it's one of the best resort I've been through.

There's Bora and Puerto Galera on top of the list. There are also nice beaches in Batangas. I heard the beach in Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte is breath-taking too. If you want more choices, you can go to Hundred Islands where you can choose from more than a hundred islands to stay. You can also go snorkeling there.

for me, it would always be Puerto Galera.. i love it there.. my mom is from Puerto Galera and we have a little something something there.. well, it's kinda sad coz it's a bit commercialized now, unlike before.. the water was clearer and the sand was whiter before, honestly.. it was in White Beach where i learned how to swim.. i just love the place.. it makes me sad though coz this is my first Holy Week away from my 'island paradise'.. i suggest that you should visit Puerto Galera even once.. and price wise, it's more reasonable than any other tourist spot in the Philippines.. i'd vote for Puerto Galera..

It's always puerto galera. I've been there and the place is nice. Lots of sands (of course!, it's a beach!), lots of food and lotsa women. What I love most is riding the boat from the port going to the place itself. The sun, the clear water,...it's very tempting to take the plunge and swim. Hehehe... I miss you, Barn. It's this damn feeling, that's why. You take care. :)

last year we went to pagudpud, ilocos norte. the place is really nice, not yet too commercialized. it's better if you know someone who lives there because it can totally cut expenses. We had a budget of 25000 and we numbered about 12. We rented a van and stayed at one of the houses there for two days and two nights. The beaches are great, the sand is light brown, a lot of waves and less people. If you want tranquility, pagudpud is the place to go. And the falls are something short of heaven. The travel time is long though, about 10 hours or more from manila.

definitely, in aklan, the undying bora! wheew.. cool place,. And also Puerto galera,. Now that you will just cost a few penny to hit the Puerto. Do not let this summer passed without going to any beach, just dont forget the sunscreen and your good to go! and one thing, bring your smiles.. ;D enjoy!..
