Beatles or Elvis?

I don't think anyone could compare Elvis to the Beatles, why do think he is named the King because he was the best by far. Ha ha. This made me laugh, does your husband know you asked such a silly question!? Beatles, hands down. J AND L would have words about this conversation, but you know that I feel the same way. Beatles shaped rock and roll as it is now and how it always should be. There is no comparison between the beatles and anyone else really. ~K ps, i hate elvis!

I prefer Beatles. Elvis songs are good too and he sings them pretty well. but i feel Beatles are more talented musicians than Elvis. Elvis appeal came first from his looks, Beatles appeal comes from their style.

The Beatles will always be my favorite. I do enjoy Elvis too. The fact that Elvis had such an impact on the Beatles is obvious, it seems that America and England appriciate each other best when it comes to good music. I mean, if you look at the early pictures of John, Paul, George with Pete Best, they dressed like Americans...they were emulating the style. Then they took those roots and made them their own. Incredible. The music a musician listens to is like their heritage. It's like a family tree. The Love album George Martin produced is amazing in the fact that if you pop that cd in it sounds just as contemporary and new as anything out there now. The Beatles were way ahead of the times, or perhaps they are just timeless.

Beatles vs. Elvis??? they revolutionized the world... our lives.... and influenced us on how we think.... but since I need to make a choice.... I'll go for the Beatles.... why???? because of them I learned to play guitar. They write, record and played them live. They made us laugh, they made us cry from words coming from their heart, mind and soul, they were honest on what they feel, they say what is needed. Beatles will always be number 1 for me. :)

I am a rare breed. I love both Elvis and the Beatles equally.When I hear Elvis sing Love Me chills go down my spine.Every January 8th and August 16th I play all my Elvis songs.And I love the Beatles too.And I Love Her, Michelle, If I fell are some of my favorites.Even when they broke up, i loved their solo projects. Paul with Wings and John with Yoko was great.John's Imagine is so beautiful. And Paul's Maybe I'm Amazed are two of my favorites.

I actually like them both. But I have to say, I listened to the Beatles more than Elvis. But I could listen to Elvis-especially his earlier stuff-all day long. I think I'd have to quit after one or two play-throughs of the Beatles.
