Why people r not keeping the number(13) for houses,rooms in western countries Any secrect behind it

Actually, I've never seen this happening. I keep hearing stories, how in elevator there's no 13th floor and so on, but nope, if the building is enough tall, there's 13th floor. Is this just a myth?

Most people believe believe that the number 13 is not a good number, that it brings bad luck. That's why they don't put 13 on buildings and establishments and on their houses.
