The Boss has idea To Cut Employee, Should I Tell Them?

One day, the boss ask me to come to his office. After several minutes had chit chat work, the boss gave an idea to cut several employee. The boss had idea to buy "X" that usually worked by the employee, from outsider. The reason: cheaper, more good. It is only an idea. But, I think it is something dangerous. Our company had bad habits to fired employee without them prepare anything. Example: Today company fired them, today they out. It is non ethical to speak boss's ideas to the other (sensitive case). I knew that. So, Should I tell them, this idea. Or should I wait till the boss really will do this idea??? Or, I just keep my mouth shut for the rest of the say? Pls help me.
