I believe that a friend is like a twin brother or sister. This is the reason we rely on friends so much and don't stop to think about life without them. What is it that makes a good friend? In my opinion, the three most important qualities are loyalty, a sense of humor, and being a good listener.
One of the basic needs of people is to know that they are not alone. A loyal friend is always there when you need him. A friend supports you in times of trouble. However, just spending time with someone is not all there is to friendship. i agree with u in many ways but sorry good relationship is not based on good communication. communication is the means to convey what u think.

ya i agree with u buddy but communication is not required. i am having a friend to whom i seldomly in touch but still he is my good friend

Basic rule which I follow is sharing and caring with my friends. If I can be of any help to my friends, I will leave everything and I will rush to my friends for helping them. If I can share their sorrows and joys, I will be the first one to share their sorrows and joys. I have some very close friends, who will come to my rescue, whenever I am in trouble of facing any problem, I have to just tell them that I am in trouble, they will leave no stone left unturned to sort out my problem and immediate rush to me for providing their assitance.

thts right.......... even i am having many friends to whom i have to just inform or if they come to know abt my problem they will do anything to resolve it.

hi ,gud frnd means caring,take tensn when u r in problem.loveable,i have frnd name supriyanta,she is a gud,bettr nd bst frnd,she guide me properly,no ego.no jealous.god give me special gift.

For a good friend to be a good friend, he should have a COMPLETE TRUST on me and I should be able to trust him completely. Everything else is secondary to me. If you have a friend who always helps you, always supports you, always be with you, but if you know that he DOES NOT trust you, then I think that is not a best friendship.I call the TRUST as the most essential character for anyone to be a best Friend, for this reason only.
