I've tried it and it's great. Found I could actually type 51 words per minute.

yeah a lot of those words on that site, are words I never type...so its kinda difficult. If it was everyday words and such, I would probubly be a lot faster. LOL.

I learned off of a typing program.. timon and pumba from the lion king lol. It was fun and now I'm the fastest typer in my family..just find something that looks like fun. if you dont want to spend money just practice on microsoft word, practice certain keys and then just practice with words with those letters.

The first one said I typed 68 wpm and the second one said I typed 44 wpm. I'm hoping both of which are seriously off just because I'm tired, sore, and probably permanently chilled to the bone after yet another day of miserable wet snow. I'm a secretary by trade. Well.. I was before I became "Mom". And I normally type a heck of alot faster than than.
I think I'm going to retry those on a better day and see how I do.

I took the test three times and my slowest one was 48 but my highest is 68 WMP. I love typing...but I've noticed that typing is just like speaking: sometimes your fingers (mouth) moves faster than your brain. I'll be typing along and I'll notice that I was just typing something that I was thinking about for that sentence...but down the road a little.
I should be on the same typing programme I'm forcing my 11 year old daughter to do. Right now, she's the fastest typer in her class. Next is my 10 year old son. He's still hunting and pecking for the keys and that irritates me to no end. I should really learn patience before I teach typing.
