who would make the best American Psycho

intresting. but i disagree. patrick batman is a more sort of a business man and jonny depp isnt that sort, he is dark and i know can play pat batmen real well, but will NOT deliver the sense of a white, americanised psycho.

Hey, how's it going? The possibilities are endless and preplexing. If you look at it from several different angles (as who to play Pat) you would get an entire different view each time. Bren Fraiser is too much of a pretty boy. He would have turned the character in to something "gayish" & ended up killing boys instead of women. Nick can NEVER do the psychopath, even if he tried... Did you get the feel that he was evil in (face off) ? Another possible contender, would be JAMES SPADER and or Guy Pearce. I agree, if AMERICAN PSYCHO had been a major production it would not have reached immortality. It looks cheap, but it's not. The reason I chose (Chris Walken) is because he looks like a wolf in sheep's clothing, if you know what I mean. He has this look in his eyes that tells you "I'm doing my best not to loose my sanity". He can go INSANE in an instant and you get convinced... Along side Chris Bale's, his performance would have made a much convincing Patrick Bateman. Thank you for the response.

He EXCELLS in that! Did you like him in the role of Frankie? Another great actor who I really admire is Dustin Hoffman!
