Yes, I have also observed that good looking people have an edge in getting jobs. Probably because we have this what we call "First impressions". Of course, employers would always want to hire employees with good personality and someone who's decent and who looks naturally confident. So if you have the beauty, the brain and the guts, more often than not, you'll be hired by the company. :)

Yes, Good looking people have an edge in getting jobs. Mostly people I know who are successful in life are good looking. Like politicians, if you have the face, the more attention you will get and the more votes coming in. Even if you dressed up well, chances are you'll grab that job. There are a thousand skillful people out there but certainly they would pick those who are handsome.

I would say yes, definitely. At least during the interview, for first impressions, good looks really help. But beyond that, I guess it's down to your resume.

I wouldn't necessarily say they get the jobs because they are good looking or more attractive but they do get the job because they are confident and when you call thier refrences that is what thier bosses will usually say that they were very confident, fast learner, and caught on very fast. I used to do the hiring for a clinic before and yes it did seem that way when people would come in I think and that is only because they presented themselves very nicely, they had confidence in what they were doing and weren't afraid to ask questions. I think it does come down to your refrences and resume though.

In this generation, I guess they do. People are superficial nowadays and surely they will choose the more attractive one, even if they are less skilled. That's how I think we have degraded ourselves to be, we never look inside, what we only see is the outer shell of people.
