Cats by nature are predators

Have you ever wonder why all cats are nocturnal by nature? Why they scratch their claws on wood furnitures? (My mom hate it when our cat does that). Why they love to play with moving objects? Why they love to play hunt and peck? (My favorite game with my cat, even if I do get a lot of scratches lol!). Cats tend to inherit their role on the food pyramid from their bestial ancestors. It's their instinct that causes them to behave like that. They do know deep inside them, some part of their subconscious, they itch to unleash that predatory behavior. Do observe your cats, it's amazing they exhibit this weird behaviors.
