I had an argument with my daughter tonight as I wanted her to do the dishes and she didn't want to.We take turns here with the cooking and the dishes and she didn't want to have her turn. So, of course good 'ol Mum had to do them, with my daughters partner drying.I know she's pregnant and all but I am getting sick of her using it as an excuse to not have to do anything. She says "but I'm tired Mum".Well maybe so,I was tired too when I was pregnant but the dishes still had to be done.Grrrr, kids!

Well, I don't know how old you daughter is, but she can't use pregnancy as an excuse. It can only be used such a way if the DOCTOR dictactes it so. I know that when I was at my 8th month I could barley reach the dishes and I was living with my inlaws. They just did that chore and I went to work and came home and did other things, like sweep and vacume and so forth. Maybe you can comprimise?? I

Oh my that is not good at all that she users her pregancy to get out of washing the dishes, and not doing her share of the work around the home. It is a great idea to take turns though I found this very good and my daughters were always willing to help me out. You are right that the work still has to be done even when we have been pregnant.
