Waiting

hi,friend,you have started a discussion connected to every one.In this connection,i too was victim some times with my friends.But i am the man with patience to wait till they come.

I have been waiting a lot for many things. I am quite patient when waiting. I never left anyone just for beeing late. I think I have waited about an hour for a friend that is late. Usually I will get a hold of them on the mobile phone so i know how long it is going to be. The longest i have been waiting for something is two years. I waited for an answer to my disability case.

At the moment I amd waiting for my boyfriend to get his apprenticeship. Then i have to wait another 3 years before he is fully skilled and then I can be a house wife :-) Just tonight my friend was waiting for me to call him because I told him when I was a tad drunk, that I'd come see him tonight. I forgot. Poor Col.

I do not wait for someone for more than 15 minutes if they don't call me and let me know they will be late. i think its rude and just plain mean. I have a cell phone and I make sure they have the number. So they can call me and tell me they are running late or they can miss me. I always try to be somewhere at least ten minutes early and when i do occasionally (very occasional) run late. I always call.

Yes We all have to wait. Wait for bus, wait for your partner to come on time, wait for exam results, wait for nine months to deliever a baby and god not what all. Infact I have to wait for my friends responses to my discussions on my lot and you also keep me waiting for it sweety. When will this wait end?

i'm very impatient if waiting comes ,but sometimes i have to and no way i like it ,i am very particular about time ,so it bugs me.

now i am waiting only for one thing,to earn some money..i have some projects in my head,but now there is nothing to do i am just waiting for the right moment:)normally i dont like to wait,but i am very patient.yes there was many times i left my frien when she was late...i am busy person so i cant wait all the day for some person:)

sweetie, we all have to wait in our lives, only thing is that some have to wait less and some for long. personally speaking, i just hate waiting for anyone, i hate it when when someone stands me up. it hardly happens though. however, waiting could be sweet aswell. the sweetest being the times when i wait for my loved ones to come back, to return from far after a long long time. the countdown never seems moving and i just pine for seconds. it's annoyingly sweet for i know i will get to meet my dear ones soon. having said this easuy888, the most terrible wait i had only one time in my life and i would never forget that. it was the spring time and with all good things around my family had an emergency, my father having suffered an heart attack was admitted to hospital and trust me, that was the toughest, saddest and the most anxious wait. we waited, waited and waited till he actually returned home after almost a fornight which seemed 15 years!!!

I really hate waiting for people who are late. I dont have the patience to wait for people. I will wait just alittle bit and leave. Maybe next time they will be on time.LOL

i am patient in waiting but since we have celphones right now, i will call that person and ask how long i have to wait, otherwise i will have to go and not wait any longer.

I am not a patient person. I will not wait long when I tell someone I will be some where I am never never late so I expect the same from others. Funny story when I went to the mall with our son he was so bad at making every one wait for him, I told him I was going to the car and if he was not out in 5 minutes I was leaving and he would have to walk home. Well guess what he made me wait longer. I did not leave him there but I taught him a lesson I moved the car and watched him when he finally came out I let him walk around the parking lot for awhile then I finally picked him up. I told him 5 minutes means 5 minutes. I know this sounds mean but he had such a bad habit of making every one wait for him, by the way he was about 16 and could have easily found his way home but it would have been a really long walk. This did not break him of this habit, he is 21 now and syill likes to make people wait.

i seldom wait because i really hate waiting... and i even do not like someone to wait for me... coz i dont like the feeling of waiting...

Yes, I've been waiting for something/someone and even made then wait for me too... I don't remember when's the longest time I've ever waited, but so far, I've always waited till my friends arrive or till they call me to tell me they can't make it.. then i think the longest i've ever waited for is always my results.. It always take a long time to reach me.. And I always have this uneasiness in my stomach when they finally arrive... luckily my results were alright..

I have been (waiting) for 11 years for my friend to show up on time, but she doesn't get the hint! She only lives 5 houses away but she is ALWAYS late! I love her as a friend but her lateness is awfull!

We are allw aiting for something or the other. Maybe its just waiting for a friend - maybe its waiting for something much more important. As for me - I am waiting for my life to restart. It was going gr8 a while back but in the last 3 years i feel like Im stuck in a rut. So imw aiting for an opportunity to restart my life - waiting for a better job to come along, waiting to earn more money, waiting to meet that special someone.

Guilty! I'm guilty a charged! I don't know how many times I've donr that and still managed to stay friends with that person. I never really had much tolerance for someone who was late meeting me. Then again it depends on the situation. If the weather, distance of where you're coming from, the time of our meet permits the most I'll wait for someone is an hour and usually I'll give a grace period. But, if you've got a car and I get there before you do... ooopsy! If you're a hot date I might be nice, which would depend on who you are or what you look like.... hey, just being honest. So yeah, it would depend on a lot of things that day we meet. If I was waiting for someone that looked the woman in your avatar I would most likely wait at least an hour or two. I could be a glutten for punishment! Just for that day though! After that you're going to have to keep me impressed until one of us gives up.

The bible says this about waiting on the lord in Isaiah40:31 "Those who wait on the lord shall be renewed in strength.They shall soar like eagles.They will run but never get tired.They shall walk but never faint."Therefore one should wait on the lord.His timing is the best.I too am waiting on the lord.I have been suffering from MND(Motor Neurone Disease).But I am still waiting on him and have full faith that he and his timing will never fail.

well i always wait for my examination very desperatly because i love them

I think,for sometimes,waiting for somebody is really a happy thing.If you are waiting for your wife/hasband,and you are going to enjoy a happy time in a park,you must be happy when you wait for her/him.
