hi palpalsky,
For me the big thing that dishonesty ruins is trust. Once dishonesty is discovered trust can never be the same again.
blessed be

it just don't spoil almost anything, it spoils everything. once trust is broken, its so hard to regain. and distrust brings a lot of discomfort to everybody

To be honest, dishonesty is not honestly dishonest, it is just an 'honest' misinterpretation of the truth.

yes i do think that dishonesty does spoil alote if not everything.
there will be always a moment that people will see the truth about you. they will discover who you really are.
and you can not gain from this situation just lose from it.
take it for instance a business man that started making his list of customers if he is dishonest with them then he will lose them for ever.
and if he is honest they will probably stick with him for a long time because it is a question of trust.
the same goes for a person that is dishonest with his friends the minute that they will find out about this they probably will choose to stay away from him and not have anything to do with this kind of a person.
so is it worth it? the answer is: no.
