In case you haven't watched an episode of COLD CASE it's a crime drama about unresolved murder investigations. I think it's cool how the show the younger image of the person and how they look now while they are relaying the storyline.
But, I have noticed that almost everytime I watch this show I am ready to burst into tears. The ways the stories are written really gets to me. It's nice to see people getting closure but some of the stories just break my heart. Does anyone else get emotional watching this show?

I'm with you that it is an awesome show! I've always teared up because of it. Now that I'm pregnant it's even worst! My husband knows not to joke with me or get concerned when that shows on.

Oh my....I don't think I could handle watching the show when I was pregnant. Especially the show they had on recently where the girls were forced to give up their babies and the nuns were selling them.

Well, I can totally say that you're not the only one who cries at this show. Between this, Extreme Makeover-Home Edition, and Grey's Anatomy, I'm a total mess!
Maybe it's just the eternal optimist in me, but I love seeing how they take these old cases that the rest of the world has forgotten and brings justice to the people who ruined these people's lives.
I heard these stories are all fiction, which disappointed me because I wanted to believe that they really were resolving all these cases. However, the fact that they are fiction is a true testament to the talent of the writers.

Cold Case is one of my favorite shows to watch. It's always interesting from start to finish, and I really love the way they show the younger person and how they look now. I usually get pretty upset when it's not on for one reason or another, but always look forward to seeing it the next week. The main characters are very caring and do everything they can to solve cold cases. There should be more people like this in real life.

I didn't start watching it until recently and I absolutely love it. It would be nice to see more people like them. I plan on looking to see if Netflix had the boxed set for rent. LOL

Yep, it sure does. I think the writers are awesome. It's a great change from a lot of the other shows out there.

I don't watch the show regularily because it's hard to find. The schedule is all messed up for some reason but yes, I have gotten emotional quite a few times watching that show. I think it's great how the family of the victims from YEARS ago can finally get closure.

If i am not mistaken i have seen an episode of this show beore ...I can't remeber what the actual show was a bout just that it disturbed me very much ..Maybe thats why i haven't watched it again ...Its tough to watch shows like that...they jsut make you say to your self why did that happen orhow could someone do that to another human being ...One of the worst stories about unsolved murders to me is the case about Ramsy girl ..the one who was into the beauty pagents ...that was an awful thign ...and the last show I had seen on it they still hadn't caught the killer ...To me that was just horrible ...Maybe that was the show i watched it on Cold Case ..but I can;t hardly watch shows like that ...they make me very emotional and sad ...not to mention I couldn't watch them in front of my little one ...

No, this show is something different. I know what show you are referring too. I used to watch it before I get rid of my cable. It's Cold Case Files. It's based on real stories.
This show is Cold Case. It's a crime drama not based on any real crimes. The writers created a past and future character that blend thru out the show. It's not like most crime dramas. It's a very caring and emotional show.

Cold case is my favorite show! I too get quite emotional over it.I felt real bad watching this past weeks episode involving the little boy who was molested and murdered. Poor little guy!I was bawling my eyes out. I think the one before it involving the homeless mother was pretty sad too

Me too! It was horrible how they guy set up the kid's Dad. The wife believed for all those years her husband was a molester.
I saw the homeless one too! I thought the eldest daughter, than the youngest daughter was the murderer. Than to find out the homeless dude was the killer. I should have known though.

I absolutely love Cold Case. Is the only show I have to watch. Always get upset. Last night we had an episode about a girl who was pregnant and sent to a home for wayward girls. Was so sad when she was sitting there singing you are my sunshine to her baby. Heartbreaking stuff. Have been singing it all day. Lol.
