A few years ago I saw my cousin giving birth with her own baby. Her boyfriend left her and her mom "deported" her to us because she's being a problem kid. She did not even keep track of how many months she's been pregnant so she just woke up my mom and telling her that she's having labor pains. my mom was in such a shock and panic that she called the doctor a few blocks away. i witnessed that when i was 20 years old and now, 3 years later, i'm still having qualms of giving birth to my own baby. i don't have plans in getting married anytime soon (i'm still studying my postgrads) and it's freaking me out everytime i think about it!
your thoughts please?

Try not to think about it at all . I have given birth four times and each time it has been a different experience . I won't lie to you and tell you that it doesn't hurt but somehow our bodies do just fine in doing this and you can get different things for pain . I know with my last two I had an epidural and if you are afraid of pain , then this is what you want as it really does make a huge difference . I couldn't get over how fast my last two came once they were able to get rid of the pain for me . There is no greater joy in life then having your own child and being able to experience having your own child . It is something you will never forget and is a truely amazing experience .

wow, i think you made a point there. but the thing is, i kind of felt bad for my cousin coz her boyfriend left her. isn't it unfair for the girl coz they both did something for them to have that child, and after learning that she's pregnant he's just gonna take off? that's really the thing. you cannot even share the pain with the one who impregnated you.
