In our group outing 2 years ago, our circle of friends occupied the whole room in one of the vacation spots here in the area. I was so shocked because one of our friends asked me if he can borrow my toothrbrush because he left his own at home. I was really disgusted that time. It made me even think where his manners are going. It's an act of indecent for me. I don't like it. The toothbrush is ones very personal belonging and it's part of ones hygiene to have his own toothbrush.
Will you lend anyone your toothbrush??

Funny as it may seem, though we are used to swapping tongues when kissing, we would not want to share our toothbrushes even with our partners, let alone with friends and other strangers. No way. It is just not acceptable. Let me narrate a funny anecdote told to me by my dad. He was a travelling salesman, who had to hop cities at a moment's notice. He once had to go to a remote city, but the silver lining was that he knew someone out there who would be glad to board him. Upon reaching his friend's house, my dad was subject to a lot of hospitality. The next day, in the morning, my dad mentioned that he had to get a toothbrush to brush, so his friend handed him a new brush. My dad brushed, had breakfast and began packing up to leave and picked the brush up from the bathroom, to which his friend objected saying that it was his brush!!!! When my shocked father enquired, he said that it was his brush and he lent it to my dad when he asked for it! It almost made mydad to puke, but he suppressed the urge and left, feigning a smile! He told me that it was his most disgusting experience ever!

I would let my best friend use my toothbrush but that is probably about it. I would never ask to borrow someone elses though. I would swish some mouthwash aorund in my mouth and run out to the shop and but my own toothbrush. What did you say. Did you let them borrow their toothbrush. They might hav been offended if you said no.

I would never lend my toothbrush to someone. I don't even understand how someone could ask to borrow someone's toothbrush. I don't think its a matter of manners, I think its a matter of personal hygene. How could anyone be that desperate as to use someone's toothbrush? They are not even a dollar at Walmart, tell them to go buy one. In one case, I did forget to bring a toothbrush and my friend did offer me her toothbrush. I looked at her like she was nuts. I'm sure I looked nuts though, because I used my finger with some toothpaste. Oh well!

Ewwww! That's gross, but not unheard of. No, it is never OK to use anyone else's toothbrush. That's the most disgusting thing I can think of. I know I saw an episode of Survivor where everyone used the same toothbrush. I would rather go without brushing my teeth than to do that.

I have never used the toothbrush from some one else while I was traveling. I feel dirty.
Or it will contact the bacteria decease easily from mouth to mouth. At home, I try to avoid the toothbrush colour mixing, so I separate them. My partner always say that toothbrush is for guess.

It is a matter of personal hygiene and I would certainly not use a toothbrush that someone else has put in thier mouth no way. Having a couple of spare toothbrushes in there wrappers is an good idea for your future friends.
Have a nice day from Deeeky.
