I just recently watched the movie. It really made me cry. My favorite part was when they were singing in the church about mountains and the one where they slept in a public bathroom. It touched my heart and brought up the waterworks.:) What was your favorite scene?

My husband and I saw this movie in the theatres and I wish I would've had a box of Kleenex along! Definitely a tear jerker at times, but also very heartwarming and funny as well. I was very moved by the scene of them sleeping in the restroom as well as the whole struggle with sleeping in shelters and being turned away when there was no room left. Will Smith clearly portrayed the lengths that this father went to to provide for his son. He did whatever was necessary to provide food and shelter while still studying and planning for a better life!

Yeah, it really inspired me and at the same time I felt kinda guilty. I mean, when little problems come my way I tend to exaggerate or when things are not going my way and when I saw this movie I was like, jeez, here I am, very lucky that I have a house to sleep in and a stable job and yet I'm complaining while some people have barely roofs over their heads...It made me see things clearly.
