It can be learned like other arts. But some people have a natural talent for writing poetry. I write poetry because I like the challenge of writing concisely. I like to think I have a natural ability but it is like anything else the more you practice it the better you get. I don't know if I will ever be a famous poet but I still do it for the pleasure it gives me!

Nothing in this world is impossible. the only thing required is the way to get it. poetry is something that requires passion and feeling which we express in our words and it becomes a poem. poem is nothing more than a writing but it is a precise one having a lot of philosophical viewpoints in it. poem is the expression of one man's thought. it does not require any in-born quality. what it requires is the immense thought for something which lets us discover each and every spec of a particular thing .but there can also be an inborn quality for this because every coin has an opposite side. the fact is how we consider it.

No, there is no in-born talent needed to be a poet.
Sometimes situation make anyone a good poet or sometimes interest make them to write a poetry.
If anyone have a interest in eriting and good imagination then he/she can try to write a poem. and yes practice makes perfect...so by practicing again n again one day he can achieve the title of a good poet.

Poetry requires no special talent or training. What you exactly need is the flair for it and the emotion. Then you will find the language spurting from your heart.A poem is not just a set of words strung together, but it is the outcry of your innermost feelings.

Writing can be learn by anyone, everyone knows how to write what varies is that some knows how to make it more flowery than others.. The content depends on the mood of the one who is writing, even your not a poet but there's always a line in your piece that makes you unique.. WHat you should do is to develop that talent, it comes from the enjoyment of making it..

I suppose just about anyone can learn to write, just like anyone could learn to crochet or play baseball. But some people are going to be great at it, others pretty poor, and the rest will be somewhere in the middle.
