I think you're a bit over reacting the pet system. If you like pets so much buy a real one that's my advice

I have a pet. I love it. I can play without and with my pet. But I do prefer to play with it now. I train alone a lot now since my best friend stop playing. To be honest, my pet keeps me company and I love to talk to it and feed it. Pets have there good and bad points on MS. Until I got mine I really didn't see the point in having one. I felt like you did. I felt that everyone who had one just use them to loot other people. Pets can do a lot more then that on ms though. Yes people use them as looters sometimes but they also can be use to help administer mp and hp pots. They are company for some people and also can provide another challenge and interest in the game. I like going to the pet parks with mine and trying to train it there ... I like to see how high of a level I can get it to. If you really care about your pet then you want to try to keep it as happy as possible by truely looking after it by making sure its feed properly etc. I see pets on ms as similar to real pets... some people want them because they truely like and love them. Others get them use to use them for doing stuff and thats it. So yes some people use there pets because they truely are lazy. But NOT everyone who has a MS pet is that way.

Lucky for you those who have a pet that entertains you. As for me there is no way I could buy some pet. The problem is there are no card sellers of nexon cash here in my country. Anyway, I don't need any pet I still prefer just to be alone when I go on for a journey. Even when I have some nexon cash, I still prefer the meso magnet.

Well, in my honest opinion... Pets aren't needed. I mean for sure, they are awesome and the only thing I would spend NX on, but along with all other CASH SHOP items, it isnt needed. Either way, I did have a pet before. Even though I dont play as often, I still miss my good ol' pup.

I used to have a pet. In fact I had two. (Both of whom I had gotten during events lol) The fist one I didn't even train, though I did feed it properly. THe second one I trained until it was lvl 10. I always feed my pets. THough I didn't use my pets as an auto looter cuz i nvr got meso magnet and item pouch! XD

I'm a maplestory fan. Pets are another thing in maplestory to enchance gameplay. However. like what you said. i never used them as auto looters before because i don't have a pet. Do you have one? What do you do other than let it pick up items? care to share?

I use my pet for training most of the time. Being an assassin at zombies and having lag is troublesome for me. Picking up using the Z button has delays and is slower than if you had a pet with item pouch or meso magnet. After training when I'm not killing anything, I occasionally just type down "chat" and get a good +2 closeness :P. Personally, I don't care about my pixelated 5 dollar pet.

well what stinks is that they turn into dolls and if you have no nexon cash you can't buy a water of life. But still pets are usful if you're a noob with i'm not.

I have a baby pet dragon and I love taking care of it , I hope it will become a black dragon and I heard that dragons can attack which I may not very sure if it does but probably it wil due to the price of the dragon and maybe in future patches anyway KingArthur u from GzN?
