I recently saw the Prestige and thought it was a fabulous movie. It is very confusing at first but once u watch the entire thing it makes sense. I think that Hugh Jackman did a great job, especially since most people are used to seeing him as wolverine in Xmen. If u have seen it what do u think of the movie? If u haven't, do u want to and if not why?

I thoroughly enjoyed The Prestige when I first saw it in theaters, and I went out to purchase the DVD the day it came out. I have to admit that I only went to see the movie because of Hugh Jackman's role in it, but when I walked away from the theater I had gotten so much more out of it. Hugh Jackman did a nice job playing Angier, but it was Christian Bale that stole the spotlight for me. I was so blown away by his performance that I instantly became a fan. Other than the top notch acting, the plot of the movie is definitely enough to keep you on your toes. With all the plot twists, I think it's absolutely impossible to be bored with it. I give this movie a very strong 9 out of 10!

What a difficult to understand movie. I had to watch it twice just to get it. Because it was getting complicated.

I like this film! I wrote a review about this and I'm glad that the readers agreed with my thoughts. I think Hugh is super "IT" for this role. It was refreshing to see him portray another role other than Wolverine :) I like the way the movie was written and how the scenes were fitted together. It was, for me, creative and edited well. For a period film, I enjoyed watching it and wouldn't mind watching it again :)

I watched both PRestige adn the Illisionist in a five day period adn tehy were really well done movies. Their trailers looked so similar but the only thing they really have in common is the characters and the time perios. I do have to say that I preferred the illisionist, it deal more with reality, something that could really be conceivable. The prestige was entertaining but not as gripping.

I've heard that the illusionist was a good movie so I think I'll have to rent it and watch it sometime soon. Thanks for commenting!

I didn't like this movie much, despite the great performance. I thought the plot is cured and ridiculous.

I loved it from the start to the very end. The story line kept me guessing what's really happening. Every guess i make turned out to be wrong. Congratulations to Chris Nolan for making such a enticing movie.

I have seen it twice and it was just as intreging as the first time.Yeh Hugh Jackman is a top actor and I'm pretty wrapped that he's from my part of the globe. The movie made him look like the bad guy but I still felt sorry for him in the end.The only thing I didnt understand was- why didnt "Freddy"use the machine to make more of him for magic like "Robert" did?It would be hard to resist not to make copies of yourself for whatever reasons wouldn't it?I'd give the movie 9 out of 10.
