Yes, if they will have skin exposed to the sun they do. But the safest thing is to keep her dressed and in the shade with an umbrella or something. When I take my baby out she wears pants, a shirt and I usually put a jacket with a hood just on her head to prevent the sun from getting to her. But Here is a website on information about sunblock and babies. Hope it helps you.

Yes all babies need sunblock, but if she is under 6 months old call her dr for him to recommed one. Also make sure when not in the water that she is kept in the shade. Also keep a floppy hat on her at all times, it would really be horrible if she got a burn on her head or face. HAve fun and enjoy.

Babies under the age of 6 months should not be outside for any length of time as it is dangerous for them to get to much sun . Over this age you can get sunblock for babies and it will say this on the bottle when you go look for them . You can get what is called waterbabies also which is good for them if they are going to be playing in the water . Another thing you can get is sunblock stickers , they are neat as you put them on the child and when they need more sunblock to be added to them the picture will fade from the sticker so you will know they need more on as they are not being protected . They are kind of expensive for the amount you get especially if you have more then one child but in the long run they are well worth it , to protect your child .
Hope this helps and best of luck !!
