Do you guys know about chacha.com? Its a real cool search engine, where a REAL life human does the searching for you.
Personally, I think most of the usage is for pranks, where you ask them to search for idiotic items, but it can be useful too. I use them to do my homework, haha.
Go on, go to chacha.com and try it out! Go play with the guides :)
They actually don't really mind pranks too, since they earn money even if you prank them. LOL

I have to side with DecemberBreeze, who posted above. We guides do indeed mind getting pranked. Please do not encourage people to "go play with the guides', because like DecemberBreeze said it takes us away from real legit infoseekers that genuinely wish to use the 'search with a guide' feature. You waste our time, and once we go over 6 minutes in a search we are no longer paid. They pranksters rate us "bad" no matter what--we could have found them the exact answer they were looking for and they still give us a "bad" rating. This really does affect us. Think about it this way: What if I came into your real job--let's say you are a car sales person for example, and I string you along, act like I am going to buy a car, make you do all the paper work, call loan companies, etc...and then after wasting an hour of your time I turn around and say --HA HA I'm pranking you and I get up and walk away, but before I walk away I go to the manager and say you were a 'Bad' sales person? See what I mean? Treat us guides like you would any other person that is offering you a service.

Yes I agree with what you are saying. I can see how irritating it can be dealing with them :p

Yea its really REAL people :p
The guides work from home and earn around $5 an hour. Too bad its only for American residents.

I actually have to recommend this site as well...
I use it at work, my job is to do customer service for a legal copy company. We handle medical and other records for lawyers and hospitals. A lot of times, I need to search for doctors and locations that are no longer in business and they have helped me find specific places and people who ere not even listed in many occasions.
I don't think I would prank them... hehehe, okay, so maybe I would...

Wow nice to know that they are useful for you. I got them to help with my homework, but they rarely got it right :p Probably too tough for them lol.

I have to comment on this one. I am currently a Cha-Cha Master Guide. I really like what I do and make a little money doing it however let me make sure that I point out a few things.
Cha-Cha guides do mind pranksters. Sure we get paid but we only make $0.50 (cents) for the first 6 minutes of the search. So when pranksters come on and take up 10-15 minutes of my time I am only making 50 cents. Then not only that pranksters give you bad ratings and that messes with your level and is not good.
I don't know what you do for a living but unless it is a comedian I am sure you wouldn't want someone coming around playing with your job. It is very frustrating when all you want to go is help someone with a legitimate search.
Yes we do also get those that want us to do their homework for them as well.

Wow, good to get a comment from an actual guide. Don't worry, I don't prank :p
I actually find this job very interesting and wouldn't mind working for them. If only they allow non-residents to work :p
