Okay.. well as I've said before (many times.. LOL) I love to cook and I think that I'm actually pretty good at it. Unfortunatly baking is not my strong suit and even if I follow a recipe exactly.. something always goes wrong. A friend of mine passed along a recipe for a no fail cake that actually works each and every time I make it. And my kids love it so we all win. Get a package of pie filling.. doesn't matter what kind.. whichever you prefer... and spread it on the bottom of your cake pan. Dump a can of crushed pineapples and spread it over the pie filling. Take a packaged cake mix and just dump the powder (do not make up the mix!) over your pie filling and pineapples. Drop a couple tablespoons of butter onto the top. Bake at 350 degrees until done. Done like dinner! LOL. I'm not sure if this actually has a name or what but it's really good and super easy to put together.

That sounds really good. You can do the same thing with a can of peaches. Get a large can of sliced peaches & dump it into a cake pan, juice & all. Then put a dry vanilla cake mix on the top, add a few dabs of butter & cook at 350 degrees for about 25 minutes, after it cools cut & eat! It is great.
