I noticed my brother's 2nd son, Montano Angelo, now 4-yrs old, and in nursery school displays a very good grasp of imitating words or actions or he could even memorize songs with long lines fully. He is a very bright kid, can quickly pick up words or actions when he wants to, but sometimes refuses to do things when asked. His nursery teachers just adores him each time he participates in school programs because he could memorize his lines and actions perfectly, but he has this habit of asking questions and when you would repeat the same question and ask him, he knows the answers all along, but he just wants to ask yo. He never ceases to surprise me each time, you just cant ignore him, he is adorable, but unfortunately he has health problems. He is asthmatic, and easily gets sick, esp. with cough and colds. He is myopic and wears thick eyeglasses at 4 yrs old...I dont really know, and i have no plans to ask his mom, but i suspect his problems may have something to do with attempts of abortion? Before he was born, his mom had a miscarriage, is it possible that there was an attempt to abort the child again, but this time she wasnt successful? for i know that she didnt want to have another child yet because i was with her when she had an D&C. I need some answers, for this will help me how to help my brother. What kind of disorder does he have? is this ADHD or AUTISM? Does he needs to see a child's therapist or what doctor should see him? Thanks in advance for your contributions.

The teacher would be a great judge of autism but it doesn't sound like it..if you research autism for symptoms he would have to meet each criteria.
I think he should be evaluated and that can be dne through school. If mom isn't willing or able, maybe she would be willing to give you medical guardianship to get it started. If you catch a problem now and treat it, it may not be a big problem later.

From what you are saying - he doesn't have either problem. My son has ADHD and Aspergers (a form of autism); what little information you are giving doesn't fit either disorder.
What you are describing is a gifted child with physical limitations. He sounds like he is bored with the level he is being taught at. (This is why he asks the questions to see if others know the answers; people are asking him questions he knows the answer for and he is doing the same thing back.)
I would recommend he be tested so that when he does get to school he will not become a behavior problem because the school is not prepared to teach and challenge him.
Unless there are other problems you have not mentioned; this child appears to be "gifted" and does NOT have any type of "disorder".
