I am planting flowers outside today.I have purchased more Hybrid Tea Roses.I find these my favorite plant. They bloom all summer long and smell great when I am on my side porch.I am getting 2 climbing roses for my front porch.I also enjoy lavendar, but every time it starts to grow a little bigger,my dog seems to step on it.I planted it behing my rose garden in hopes nothing will happen to it this year. What is your favorite, easy and best smelling flower?I need some ideas as I have a huge yard to fill.

Here in the Philippines, the flowers here are not as colourful or as fragrant as those you'd find in temperate countries, but there are some that are, and some only bloom in certain times of the day.
My particular favourite is my Mum's Dama de Noche (it means the Lady of the Night). It's small, white, tubular flowers are unremarkable, but wait until the evening, when it gives out this sweet floral scent. When I was young, there were many Damas planted in my school, so now when I get a whiff of it, I become transported back to my childhood...

Sound beautiful.I am in the US.I have honeysuckle vines on my side fence. These are tiny flowers like you describe except the are yellow. You can pull them apart and eat the nectar. This is very sweet. These also seem to be very fragrant in the evening.

I envy you for your garden, as I live in an apartment and do not have one. When I did have one, roses were my personal favorite. Good luck to you, your dog & your flowers.

if you have a porch you can still have a garden.Or if you have a sunny window tea roses are wonderful there. They just need some fresh air once in awhile.I often wish I had an apartment so I don't have to do yardwork.
