A dream come tru for Pizza lovers! I am not kidding but the trick is that the pizza should be whole wheat. I can put up with that I actually like the texture of the whole wheat. Read the whole article at the link below:

i agree 'coz i usually buy ready made pizzas like the pepperoni supreme sometimes crust made from wheat or the ordinary one but i always add toppings like bell pepper , tomato chunks , pineapple , lettuce , roasted chicken , olives , onions , crunchy garlic slices and low fat mozzarella cheese ! this is very colorful and much healthier for this got more fresh vegetables.

Pizza can be healthy if you choose the right toppings. Myself, I like pizza a lot although I usually choose standard toppings. I've tried whole wheat vs white on other foods and I don't really seem to notice the difference when it's baked or fried. I hope pizzas are made with whole wheat. It will give me more of a reason to eat them.

I know that white flour is bad for anything, and wheat is better. But, I cannot eat it in pizza, as I have tried it. Have you tasted it? Do you like it?

Yes, it can be. It's funny, I was just watching the story about it on TV while reading your post. As #1 said, just make sure you don't put the high sodium, high fat ingredients all over the place on it.

Of course it is!!! A few restrictions may be added though.. make sure the pizza is made of whole wheat.. make sure there are no fatty toppings.. make sure the meat is removed from the toppings.. make sure all kinds of spices are removed from the toppings.. make sure every bit of topping is healthy-use fresh vegetables, corn.. The most difficult part of this is...well the eating!!!

I have had a whole wheat crust recipe for years, it is just hard to convince my hubby that we can make our own crust at home. He says it is too much trouble to do. Other than that he likes to make pizza at home. It is health food, if you avoid overly fatty meats and cheeses. Yum, this is a hungry discussion.

I have thought that for years. I have never felt the need to eliminate pizza from my diet. Even while trying to lose weight, you only need to make a few modifications.
I never tried the whole-wheat crust, although I am sure that it would be good. Remove most of the higher fat toppings if you can. You can instead, substitute lower fat toppings.
I only use the lower fat cheeses on my pizza. Fresh vegetables are great instead of the higher sodium canned ones. If you like meat on your pizza, try a little bit of chicken or ground turkey. These are lower in fat than bacon, sausage or pepperoni.
Most importantly, make sure you limit the amount of pizza you eat. I have seen some people who do not normally eat large portions devour enormous amounts of pizza. Pay attention to what you are eating and how much of it and you should be fine.
